AOC Escorts Pro-Hamas Supporter After Being Released From Custody

On Saturday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez escorted pro-Hamas advocate and activist Mahmoud Khalil from Newark Liberty International Airport, NJ, after he was released from the Lousinia detention facility.
ICE agents arrested Khalil back in March after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) identified him as a potential national security threat, according to the New York Post.
You just kidnapped this man off the street because you didn’t like his speech, threw him in a cell for 104 days, ignored court orders, & denied relief so he had to listen to his wife birth their child over a phone.
And now YOU want to call HIM the terrorist?
Look in the mirror. https://t.co/xiFfm308Zw

Khalil is a Syrian-born Palestinian with a green card who received his graduate degree from Columbia University this past December. However, the DHS reported that Khalil has been heavily involved in leading protests against the war in Gaza at Columbia and the nearby Barnard College, even after graduating.
Khalil has led building takeovers and encampments for the past year. He was also the lead negotiator for Columbia United Apartheid Divest, which sympathizes with terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah and calls for the “end of Western civilization,” according to the New York Post.
Additionally, the DHS said that Khalil participated in activities tied to the terrorist organization Hamas.
Despite these claims about Khalil, Ocasio-Cortez condemns what she calls the Trump Administration’s politicization of ICE, according to ABC News:
They are violating the law, and they know that they are violating the law, and they are trying to use these one-off examples to intimidate everyone else from not going to school, from not using their speech, et cetera.
Ocasio-Cortez blasted the Trump Administration and ICE on X for calling Khalil a terrorist, and instead suggested that they look in the mirror.
No, the focus must remain on the Hamas terrorist organization. A group that constantly commits war crimes according to the Geneva Conventions by using human shields, child labor, kidnapping and murdering children, intentionally firing rockets at civilians, and planting bombs in civilian buildings.
There were zero mentions of Khalil's actions upon his return on ABC, NBC, or CBS Sunday newscasts. Social media video shows him shouting the "from the river to sea" chant once back on the streets of New York.
There is an interesting dovetail with current events given that Khalil’s activities were found to be “aligned with Hamas”, terror proxy of Iran, whose critical nuclear sites were at least partially destroyed in the successful Operation Midnight Hammer. And yet, none of the legacy newscasts saw fit to cover Khalil’s reemergence.
Later adding, "Having proven himself to be who we always thought he was, there isn’t much further media use for Khalil until he is either deported or allowed via judicial fiat to finalize his citizenship process. "
