Made in the U.S.A.: 90+ Jobs Go to Legal Nebraskans After ICE Raid

Just days after a major U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid at the Glenn Valley Foods meatpacking facility in Omaha, Nebraska, over 90 job openings, once held by illegal immigrants, are now being taken back by American workers, according to NBC.
Yes, legal American citizens, once unemployed, eagerly stepped up to fill the roles almost overnight.

Despite outrage from some corners of the internet, one X user put it perfectly:
And just like that, the “jobs Americans won’t do” myth evaporates. Turns out when the law is enforced and wages aren’t undercut, Americans line up to work.
One raid exposed the whole scam.

For years, Americans have been told illegal immigrants are “doing the jobs Americans won’t do.” But this week, that talking point collapsed.
Americans are more than ready and willing to work when given the chance. When the system isn’t rigged against them, they show up.
The message is clear: Enforce immigration laws, and American workers benefit.
