Edan Alexander Is Finally Home...And the Left-Wing Media Looks Away

This week, Edan Alexander, an American citizen from Tenafly, New Jersey, finally returned home to the United States after being held hostage by Hamas terrorists in Gaza for 584 days.

Huge crowds from his hometown gathered to welcome him with a hero’s reception, cheering and waving American and Israeli flags. According to Fox News, Alexander, 21, was seen smiling and waving from the passenger seat of a black SUV, escorted by a police motorcade and surrounded by cheering supporters.

Born and raised in the U.S., Alexander chose to serve in the Israel Defense Forces after high school. He was taken hostage during the October 7, 2023, terror attack and held in brutal, inhumane conditions. Thanks to the Trump administration, this week marked his first time back on American soil since that horrific day.

And the media? They barely batted an eye.

This should be a headline across the country. It’s not just a feel-good story — it’s major news. An American hostage rescued from terrorists should be a moment of national celebration and pride.

So where’s the media coverage?

CNN?

The New York Times?

As of now, crickets.

Why does the mainstream media avoid stories like this? These are the same outlets that love to preach about “justice,” “human rights,” and “democracy”—until it doesn’t suit their agenda.

So what does that say about their priorities?

Americans deserve better. Edan Alexander deserves better.
