President Trump on Wednesday, sitting next to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, at the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, answered wide-ranging questions from reporters in which he continued to criticize Iran, amid its ceasefire agreement with the U.S. appearing to have fallen apart.
"They've misbehaved for 47 years," he said about Iran, making clear U.S. efforts are to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, not facilitating a regime change.
"He also said there was "a lot of love in this room" regarding talks with Zelensky and that his country has a "great potential" amid its years-long war with Russia.
Trump also said he has recently talked with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who said he" wants to end the war" and that Ukraine has "lots of support from most European countries" at NATO.
