In December, the Kennedy Center’s Board of Trustees, which was packed with Trump’s allies, voted “unanimously” to rename the cultural center to the Trump-Kennedy Center. The move drew immediate backlash and a lawsuit from Rep. Joyce Beatty of Ohio, one of the board’s ex officio members, who was stripped of voting power on the board. Beatty was reportedly spotted in the plaza next to the Kennedy Center among crowds waiting for the removal to begin on Friday…
…Norman Eisen, one of the attorneys representing Rep Beatty, said in the latest motion filing that there is “serious reason for concern” that the center is “not undertaking a good faith effort to comply with the Court’s order.”
“It appears that Defendants’ General Counsel has told all staff that Defendants need not do anything to ensure the Center remains meaningfully operational after July 5, 2026, and can instead implement a total closure via inertia.”
District Judge Christopher R. Cooper, a corrupt and creepy Obama judge, has made numerous corrupt rulings, including not recusing himself from one case so he could throw an innocent ex-girlfriend who shunned him in prison.

Corrupt Obama Judge Cooper is destroying the Constitution again.
Judge Cooper should recuse himself from any matter involving the president. His wife, Amy Jeffres, represents a number of clients against the administration; just this week, she filed the lawsuit on behalf of Joe Biden to keep recordings with his ghostwriter out of Congress’s hands.
Cooper and Jeffres were married by none other than Merrick Garland.

Judge Cooper happily went after DOGE.
But the worst was not recusing himself from overseeing a case with a woman who turned him down for a date, then he threw her in prison.
The judge in Dr. Simone Gold’s case once asked her out and was denied. Years later, he sentenced her to 60 days in prison for a public trespassing misdemeanor.
Julie Kelly reported that she received a statement from Dr. Gold before the doctor reported to prison. In the letter, Dr. Gold mentions that the judge in her case, Judge Christopher Cooper, asked her out once in law school. She denied his request. He didn’t recuse himself from her case in spite of this. He berated her and accused her of not caring about the “5” people that died on Jan 6 [a lie – only four Trump supporters died that day]. Then he gave her over-the-top sentencing of 60 days in prison for a misdemeanor.
What a piece of work. Judge Cooper should never be deciding on any case. He’s proven over and over that he’s unable to administer justice in any capacity.

The good news is less than 20% of Americans approve of their actions. Americans want the courts out of the Trump-Kennedy Center and want corrupt judges in prison.
