Four Arguments to Destroy the Internet
This week’s episode leans on an old book that argued that we should eliminate television. We can see the value in the arguments, and note the consolidation and decay in the institution we call TV since the book’s publication in the late ‘70s. The Internet, as an institution, is the next evolution of what television was and only more extreme. Can we reform it or do we have to destroy what it currently is before civilization is at risk?
