Journalist Piers Morgan has some choice words for activists Greta Thunberg — and none of them were nice.

Morgan lambasted Thunberg with a post on Monday after the Swedish activist — as well as others bound for Gaza to deliver aid — was detained by Israeli Defense Forces. Thunberg said in a video she was “intercepted and kidnapped,” Mediaite reported.

“Oh shut up, @GretaThunberg – you attention-seeking narcissist. What an insult to the actual hostages in Gaza who really WERE kidnapped. This stupid stunt is all about your ego, and will make zero difference to the plight of innocent Palestinians caught up in this dreadful war,” Morgan wrote.

Thunberg as well as several other activists were detained when their boat was intercepted on its way to Gaza after leaving Sicily, as IJR reported on.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) showed the group footage of the “atrocities committed against women, the elderly, and children” that happened on Oct. 7.

Many on X disagreed with Morgan’s assessment of Thunberg.
