Actress Cheryl Hines stood by her man Tuesday when she was on “The View.”

Her husband is Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whose policies are controversial to some.

Hines was on the show to promote her new memoir, “Cheryl Hines Unscripted,” when the topic turned to her husband, per Mediaite.

Things turned heated when Hostin accused Kennedy of spreading “misinformation,” “chaos,” and “confusion.” She also said he is the “least qualified” person to lead HHS.

“Respectfully, your husband is the least qualified Department of Health and Human Services head that we’ve had in history. I think that’s very, very dangerous,” Hostin started.

“Why is he less qualified than an economist? How is that possible,” Hines asked, making reference to former President Barack Obama’s nomination of Sylvia Burwell as the head of HHS.

“I think he is less qualified,” Hostin responded.

“He has spent his career studying toxins, studying people’s health, fighting for one guy who was using Roundup for his job,” Hines said. The Roundup mention was referring to Kennedy’s work as a lawyer suing major corporations.

Hostin replied that he has spread “a lot of misinformation.”

“He has also spread a lot of misinformation, a lot of chaos, a lot of confusion. And I think it’s just a very dangerous thing. I say it with the utmost respect,” Hostin said.

Cohost Joy Behar added, “Some of it’s good and some of it is not. That’s the point.”

“Listen, we all have different views here. And when you say misinformation, disinformation, we could go back to COVID when —” Hines said before she was interrupted by Hostin.

“He’s connected circumcision to autism!” Hostin said.

“May I finish?” Hines asked.

Kennedy recently asserted there is a link between early circumcisions and autism because of the use of Tylenol.

The claim has been disputed by medical professionals.

“When people, Fauci, people were saying when you get the vaccine, you cannot transmit COVID, it will stop COVID. And that was disinformation, misinformation,” Hines said.

“And Dr. Fauci has a medical degree,” Hostin retorted.

“At the time, they were censoring Bobby, because Bobby said, where’s the science to show us this? And there wasn’t any. But people attacked him and said, you’re wrong. So it’s like, let’s take a step back. I know. That’s your opinion, and that’s OK,” Hines said.
