The writing’s on the wall — or in this case not — for O.J. Simpson.

The Buffalo Bills are leaving the football great turned double Murder suspect off the Wall of Fame in the team’s new stadium.

“We have made an organizational decision that he is not a fit to display inside our new stadium and Family Circle,” Chief Operating Officer Pete Guelli Guelli said in statement released by the team.

In its new home, the organization decided to forgo another Wall of Fame in favor of the “Family Circle” in front of new stadium where Simpson’s name will not be included.

Simpson set numerous team rushing records, and became the NFL’s first player to top 2,000 yards in a season during his nine-year career in Buffalo in the 1970s.

His reputation became tarnished, however, when he was arrested and tried for killing his former wife and her male friend in 1994.

He was acquitted of Murder in criminal court, but was later found liable for the deaths in a separate civil case.

Later, Simpson served nine years in prison after he was convicted on unrelated charges.

Simpson, 76, died of prostate cancer in April 2024.

The Bills distanced themselves from Simpson after the Murder charges.

While Simpson would still attend Buffalo home games in Orchard Park, New York, through personal connections, the team would not acknowledge his presence.

The Bills former stadium, called Highmark Stadium, is in the process of being demolished.

Last week, the team held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open its new $2.1 billion facility, which will also be called Highmark Stadium.
