Watching This Made Me Sick

I wrote yesterday about my absolute disgust that Democrats chose Adam Hamawy as their candidate for a congressional seat in New Jersey. 

The man volunteered for an al Qaeda organization, volunteered for a month during the Gaza War at the very hospital where Sinwar had his secret headquarters, where he was finally killed, and was a character witness for his mentor, the Blind Sheik, who masterminded the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Adam Hamawy puts himself in the van and the hotel room where Salem bragged he’d been in Egyptian special forces, fought Israel in 1973, could “blow up bridges,” and then floated himself to the Blind Sheik: “could I help you in some way.” Though he suspected Salem was a plant, he didn’t know, and he didn’t distance himself from the Sheik.

On the contrary, Hamawy kept circulating in that orbit anyway, taking both domestic and international trips the Sheik arranged for him, staying where the Sheik’s men placed him, and reported nothing.

By his own mouth Adam sat through years of Abdel Rahman preaching that America and Israel are the enemies of Islam and that jihad against them was the throughline of nearly every public talk, “that’s what he always talked about.”  

Adam visited the Sheik’s home, and translated for him at a April 1993 press conference, after the WTC bombing, after that milieu was toxic to the max. Then, years later, he volunteered to testify for the Sheik’s defense. 

That arc, heard the talk, didn’t leave, kept assisting, travelled with, and later vouched, is radioactive on its own. And it comes from Hanay’s own testimony, found pp. 1576-1608.

The man is an al Qaeda sympathizer and accomplice, and the Democrats rallied to him in the very same congressional district where Todd Beamer is laid to rest. 

In 25 years the New York City region has gone from traumatized by the terrorism that killed thousands to welcoming as its overlords a man associated with the very terrorists who committed the act. 

Lest you buy the "he's an innocent doctor who just wants to help people shtick" (doctors, by the way, are often involved in terrorist activities, and held hostages in Gaza), he celebrated his victory on Tuesday with chants that Islamist terrorists make as they start killing people or ignite their suicide bombs. 

For context, Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian is a cardiologist. Doctor does not mean "humanitarian."

Chants that his supporters echoed, with big grins on their faces, likely indicating their glee that their fellow Democrats are so stupid. 

How reassuring. No doubt that non-Islamists will feel better seeing an al Qaeda sympathizer shouting the same words that victims of terrorism hear right before they are shot or blown up, or what the women who get stoned to death get sent to heaven hearing. 

No doubt every person who points out Hamawy's ties to al Qaeda and to his chants on election night will be slandered as a vicious Islamophobe, because everybody knows that Islam is the "religion of peace." It is unfair of us to notice that Hamawy's own choices show that he is a radical Islamist.

Dr. Adam Hamawy, now the official Democratic nominee for U.S. Congress in New Jersey, spent nearly a month in 2024 at the European Hospital in Khan Younis and testified it was a "completely benign civilian hospital with no tunnels underneath it."

Now, let me share with you the facts.

The European Hospital in Khan Younis is the exact location where just a few months later, the Israeli forces exposed a massive underground terror network and eliminated none other than Muhammad Sinwar, the chief commander of Hamas, right there.

Anyone who spends a month in a Hamas stronghold and testifies he saw absolutely nothing is either completely blind, or deliberately lying.

Gad Saad calls out the "suicidal empathy" of the West, which is a partial explanation. The obsessive focus on the trials of non-white people and the indifference to those of us considered "oppressors," no matter our station in life or troubles we have. 

But I think it goes deeper than excessive empathy for "victims"; it is a deep-seated loathing for our society and white people in general, and openly expressed as such in attacks on "whiteness" itself, rather than just historical injustices. A descendant of a black African slave owner can, for instance, denounce people who have never had anything to do with slavery, and whose ancestors didn't either.

No doubt many of the people in New Jersey 12, a Deep Blue district, will be horrified that an al Qaeda ally will be represented in Congress, but unless a miracle happens, they will be treated to chants of "Allahu Akbar" from their congressman well into the future.
