I don't know about that—the Hawk Tuah girl rose fast and fell fast, so predicting what will happen even a few months from now is a fool's errand. What I do know is that her popularity says something deeply troubling about where the AWFLs are.

Her brand, as you can tell, is being vile. By now we expect online politics to get mean, and no matter how much we wish that we could elevate discourse above its current level, I accept that trolling and insults are par for the course.

And yet...Obama poses with her, she gets royal treatment on The View, features in magazines, and morning "news" shows.

Now I can't speak for the homeless of New York City, and admittedly not one of them has masturbated to me as I walk by, but even if such an unlikely thing were to happen, I am pretty sure it wouldn't be featured as a good thing on a podcast. But then again, I am not a Democrat. You be you.

Welch is being pushed out there as the "new" face of Democratic Party influencers, and I suppose she has more appeal to wine moms than Harry Sisson has to his demographic. But what does that say about how far the Democrats have fallen?
