Make the Monroe Doctrine Great Again
President Trump ordered a precision attack on Venezuelan defenses and their unelected president, Nicolás Maduro, was quickly extracted and arrested. He and his wife were soon on their way to America to face chargers.
Venezuelans everywhere celebrated while socialists everywhere were crying foul. The newly-minted New York City Mayor, “Warmth of Collectivism” Mamdani was furious and said Trump “committed an act of war and violated international law.”
Maduro had plenty of time to make a deal with the US. Perhaps he could have gone into exile and lived comfortably, but no—as a typical socialist strong man he was addicted to power and refused to give it up. Venezuelan citizens voted him out, but he refused to go. Now he’s gone, thanks to Trump.

When he was in power, someone asked him if he planned on having that free and open election. He replied, “What for?” President Miguel Díaz-Canel carries on for the Castros and he keeps Cubans from being free—he also commits human rights violations while keeping the Cuban people in abject poverty. Cuba depends on oil from Venezuela and aid from Russia. The communists in Cuba might be on their way out. Cuban cigars could be returning to America.
Meanwhile, the Marxist strongman in Colombia, Gestavo Petro, might be next on the removal list. He was sharply warned by Trump, who said, “He needs to watch his ass.” Colombia is a country that has long produced and smuggled cocaine. Most citizens currently disapprove of Petro’s leadership, which is typical. Socialists promise warm collectivism and deliver cold, hard force.
Likewise, Brazil’s socialist leader, Lula da Silva, has caused many citizens in his country to grumble. His approval rating has plunged to 24 percent. Some have expressed hope Trump will add da Silva to his ’take out’ list. Lula targeted opponents like Brazil’s former president, Jair Bolinsaro, with crooked socialist judges who were eager to send him to jail for decades. Just like the socialists in America who drummed up nonsense charges against Trump.
Then there’s Mexico’s socialist president, Claudia Sheinbaum. She’s in charge of her country…at least on paper, but in reality Mexico is a narco state and she’s powerless to stop it. Trump might stop it because he doesn’t like the drug gangs spilling over into America.
The Monroe Doctrine has been neglected for far too long. Trump is here to make it great again.
