TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody endorsed Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia in his campaign for a full term, adding her name to a growing list of Republican officials backing his bid.

Ingoglia announced the endorsement Monday, with Moody praising his record on government spending, affordability and support for law enforcement.

“Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia is a proven leader who delivers results for Floridians,” Moody said. “As your CFO, he is leading the charge to make Florida affordable, protecting the taxpayers of this great state, and standing with law enforcement to keep our communities safe.”

Ingoglia thanked Moody for the endorsement and said the two would continue working to protect taxpayers and promote transparency in government.

“I am honored to receive Senator Moody’s endorsement,” Ingoglia said. “Ashley has been a relentless advocate for Florida families. Together, we will continue working to protect taxpayers, ensure government operates with transparency, and support our law enforcement.”

His campaign has also announced support from three former Florida chief financial officers, 13 state attorneys and several law enforcement and business organizations, including the Florida Fraternal Order of Police, Florida Police Benevolent Association, Florida Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Florida.

DeSantis appointed Ingoglia as Florida’s chief financial officer in July 2025. He is now seeking a full term in the statewide office.
