Randy Fine Threatens To Sink GOP Agenda Until Trump Ally Who Dared Criticize Him Gets Fired

Republican Florida Representative Randy Fine has declared war on Trump ally Alex Bruesewitz and is threatening to sink the House’s agenda until he’s fired.
Fine has told White House officials he plans to vote against every rule that comes before the House until President Donald Trump removes outside adviser Alex Bruesewitz from his orbit, according to a NOTUS report. (RELATED: Trump Social Media Advisor Confronts Tucker Over Epstein, Israel, Iran)
A source close to the White House confirmed Fine’s comments to the Daily Caller.
For weeks, the Florida Republican has privately urged colleagues to urge Trump to cut ties with Bruesewitz, an influential outside adviser who holds no official position in the administration but is widely viewed as having the president’s ear.
More recently, Fine escalated that pressure by threatening to oppose every House rule unless Bruesewitz is removed.
On Tuesday, Fine was the only Republican to vote against the rule governing how the House would consider several bills this week, including the GOP election integrity legislation, the SAVE America Act. (RELATED: Randy Fine Votes No On SAVE America Act Over Mystery GOP ‘Family’ Feud)
In response to the NOTUS report that Fine planned to boycott future rule votes, a source close to the White House told the Caller, “Good luck telling the president who he can and can’t talk to.”
If Fine follows through on his threat, it could further strain House Speaker Mike Johnson’s thin Republican majority, making it more difficult to advance major legislation ahead of the midterm elections.

Both Fine and Bruesewitz have been engaged in a weeks-long rivalry on the social media platform X that began when the Trump advisor appeared on Tucker Carlson’s podcast.
During the episode, Carlson was discussing Trump’s endorsement of the Florida Rep. and then referred to Fine as “that creepy fat guy from Florida who endorsed genocide.”
When comparing Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz and Fine, Carlson remarked that the two lawmakers’ views were “identical.” Bruesewitz responded, “I don’t say that Randy Fine’s opinions are good. I think Ted Cruz’s personality is just worse.”
He went on to criticize Fine, telling Carlson, “I think Randy Fine has tweeted some ugly things. Really ugly things, and his views do not represent the views of the Trump administration or my views.”
This sparked a public feud, with Fine later attacking Bruesewitz, Tucker Carlson, and Candace Owens in a social media post last month.
“There is a mind virus that is trying to infect the Republican Party,” Fine wrote in the post on X. “Tucker, Alex Bruesewitz, and Candace Owens fundamentally hate the American origin story. They seek to pit Jews and Christians against each other and fetishize Islam to distract from its stated goal to destroy the West.” (RELATED: Randy Fine Claims Iranian Hackers Targeted Him With Fake Newsmax Interview Phishing Scheme)

Bruesewitz remains one of Trump’s closest outside advisers and maintains strong relationships with senior White House officials. He played a significant role in arranging Trump’s appearances on popular podcasts during the 2024 campaign, an effort widely credited with helping the president connect with younger male voters.
Despite Fine’s push to have him removed, Bruesewitz has continued to enjoy access to the president. In recent weeks, he posted photos on social media showing himself and rapper Nicki Minaj meeting with Trump in the Oval Office.
Fine is currently running against internet celebrity Dan Bilzerian in his Florida GOP primary, which will be held on August 18th.
The Caller reached out to Fine’s office for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.
