Leftist kingmaker and streamer Hasan Piker described sexual assault allegations against Democrat Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner as “super credible and indefensible” on Monday.

Piker shared his thoughts on his Twitch livestream while reading through an exclusive report from Politico featuring an allegation of sexual assault from one of Platner’s ex-girlfriends.

The woman, Jenny Racicot, alleged that Platner had forced her to have sex with him nearly five years ago while the pair were in an on-again-off-again relationship. (RELATED: Graham Platner’s Alleged Victims Came Forward. The New York Times Fed Them To The Wolves)

Although he had been a strong defender of Platner in the past, Piker told the more than 32,000 people watching his reaction live that not only was this a “clear-cut date rape under the influence of alcohol,” but that the allegations were also “as airtight as it’s gonna get … as far as allegations go.”

The alleged assault took place when the Senate candidate entered Racicot’s home uninvited while heavily intoxicated before allegedly forcing himself on her. Racicot said she repeatedly told him to stop.

“It’s indisputable he violated this person’s consent,” Piker said. “This is as open and shut as it gets.”

Piker said this was a “different situation” than an allegation made by another ex-girlfriend, Lyndsey Fifield, in June, as reported by The New York Times.

Fifield alleged that Platner physically abused her, leaving bruises on her and shoving her into a room where she was locked overnight.

Racicot also spoke to the Times, though she didn’t go into detail other than saying that she cut off contact with Platner after he acted “reckless” and “unsettling” while drunk.

Hasan responded to Fifield’s allegations, spending his livestream at the time defending Platner and referring to Fifield as a “Republican operative” due to her connections with the Heritage Foundation, adding that the allegation “doesn’t reach the standard of legal repercussions.”

“I don’t care about the personal character of Graham Platner,” Hassan has previously said. “I don’t care about the things that he’s done, unless it’s like literally irredeemable.”
