Stephen A Smith Mocks NBA Team For Having A Lot Of 'White Dudes' On Roster
How on earth is this not racist?
Stephen A. Smith, an ESPN legend and a bit of a blowhard at times, is throwing criticism at the Los Angeles Lakers for, get this, having a lot of white men on their roster. He claims that they have way too many to achieve success in the NBA.
Smith mocked the franchise Wednesday over trading for center Walker Kessler, and as a result, he will be playing with superstar Luka Doncic and elite guard Austin Reaves. All three are white. (RELATED: Emmanuel Acho Has Easily One Of Worst Caitlin Clark Takes Of All-Time)
“Where the hell the Los Angeles Lakers think they are going with a bunch of White dudes?” questioned Smith while speaking on his podcast. “Your three top players are White dudes. Really? This is basketball.
“In NBA history, when has a team led by three White dudes ever gone to the promised land? Somebody gotta say it.”

I’m just going to point out that Stephen A. Smith is saying this at a horrible time.
As we already know, Indiana Fever phenom Caitlin Clark is dominating the WNBA, so much to the point where the whole league is jealous of her. And as far as the NBA, let’s not act like Dallas Mavericks sensation Cooper Flagg isn’t becoming the face of the league as stars such as LeBron James and Kevin Durant age. And on top of that, other than San Antonio Spurs big-man Victor Wembanyama, the younger generation has been boring everybody before we got to the offseason, which has been absolutely glorious, by the way.
I’m just saying … it seems to be the era of “white dudes” (and Caitlin Clark) to me.
