MLB Team To Let Drag Queen Spray Water All Over Its Fans In Peak Pride Month Degeneracy
What the hell are we doing?
After a West Coast trip that saw the Baltimore Orioles square off against the Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels, the team is back home Friday night to kick off a series against the Washington Nationals.
But that’s not the only thing they’re doing. (RELATED: Giants Pitchers Who Wrote Bible Verses On Pride Night Hats Won’t Be Disciplined, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred Says)
The O’s have decided to invite Heidi N Closet to the game to be a Guest Splasher in its Bird Bath, doing so in celebration of the team’s Pride Night on Friday. If you’re not familiar with who Heidi N Closet is, he’s a drag queen who competed on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
As far as the Bird Bath, it’s fans who are placed in Sections 84 and 86 at Orioles Park at Camden Yards. Every time a player from Baltimore hits an extra-base hit, which can be a double, triple or home run, or scores a run, a designated hype man named Mr. Splash comes out to spray the fans with a high-powered water hose. He’s often joined by a guest, who also sprays the team with water.
They’re called Guest Splashers, and that’s exactly what Heidi N Closet will be doing.
This Friday, Heidi N Closet will be our Guest Splasher in the @TowerFCU Bird Bath for Pride Night at The Yard!
