Famous Actor Faces Eviction, Reportedly Owes More Than $59,000 In Rent
Mickey Rourke is facing eviction after allegedly failing to pay more than $59,000 in back rent on a Los Angeles rental home.
The 73-year-old actor and former boxer was served a three-day notice to pay $59,001 on Dec. 18 after landlord Eric Goldie claimed Rourke violated the terms of his lease, according to People. The notice was posted at the property and mailed to Rourke after he was not home to receive it, the outlet reported, citing documents showing he leased the home in March 2025. Goldie is seeking repayment of the allegedly unpaid rent along with attorney fees after Rourke failed to comply with the notice.

The landlord is also asking the court to terminate Rourke’s rental agreement, according to a complaint filed Monday. Court filings state the lease began at $5,200 per month and was later increased to $7,000.
The Los Angeles property is listed on Zillow as a 1,600-square-foot home with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Built in 1926, the house is described as an upgraded Spanish bungalow with an open-concept layout and a grassy backyard.

Rourke appeared disheveled and nearly unrecognizable in photos taken as the news of the potential eviction surfaced, TMZ reported Friday.
The actor also drew backlash earlier in 2025 during his stint on “Celebrity Big Brother,” where he allegedly used a gay slur and made offensive remarks toward JoJo Siwa, according to TMZ.
