‘America, Sending Message To World': ESPN Produces One Of Greatest Scenes They've Ever Done With Iconic B-2 Bomber

Leave it up to Pat McAfee and the crew to deliver this kind of gold — I just have one complaint.

During halftime of the College Football Playoff matchup between Alabama and Indiana, a B-2 stealth bomber soared overhead the stadium while ESPN superstar Pat McAfee, along with co-hosts A.J. Hawk and Darius Butler, stood together on the sidelines.

“America sending a message to the world here in Pasadena. We got a B2 and you don’t!” said McAfee as the iconic B-2 bomber zoomed over Rose Bowl Stadium. “That’s the things that the US has and nobody else does. College football is one of them and a B2 stealth bomber is another. Greatest country on earth. No questions asked.” (RELATED: Touched By Ole Miss’ Feel-Good Story? Hawk followed McAfee with, uh, well, a joke.

“I just got a red, white and boner,” said Hawk.

“I think I got a little freedom erection happening as well,” added McAfee, because of course he did. “How could you not?”

Considering the power and glory of the B-2 stealth bomber, this is easily one of the greatest scenes ESPN has produced, but man, I’ve gotta be honest. I love Pat McAfee, I really do, but I can only take him and his people in small doses, and this exact moment is why.
