Erika Kirk welcomed rapper Nicki Minaj as the surprise guest for a Q&A Sunday at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest.

Minaj previously joined Donald Trump at the White House in November, speaking at the United Nations to raise awareness about persecution against Christians in Nigeria. Rumors swirled around a possible AmericaFest appearance, but no official announcement was made. The rapper saluted as she took the stage, saying, “I’m honored to be here. I’m honored to be here.”

Minaj praised both President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, saying they are politicians who have an “uncanny” ability to relate to the American people.

“I love both of them,” she said.

The love was reciprocated when Minaj called JD Vance an ‘assassin’ then slowly walked back her words, realizing the sensitivity surrounding the term. Erika Kirk leaned in to the conversation assuring Minaj that she loved and supported her as the crowd cheered on.

Minaj used her platform to take aim at Gavin Newsom.

She laced into the Governor of California in a moment that instantly ignited the room.

“Dear Newscum, we don’t have a problem cleaning up the scum if we have to,” she said.

Slowly annunciating she issued a warning to Newsom that was clear and concise, “Please tread lightly.”

Minaj previously supported Democrats like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton but has since become a staunch supporter of the Trump administration.
