N.C.I.S. Actress Dies Tragically At 45
N.C.I.S: Los Angeles actress Rachael Carpani died “unexpectedly” at the age of 45, according to a statement online.
Carpani’s family announced her death on social media.
“It is with great sadness that Tony and Gael Carpani announce that their beautiful daughter, beloved Australian actress Rachael Carpani, unexpectedly but peacefully passed away after a long battle with chronic illness, in the early hours of Sunday 7th December,” the statement read.
The actress was best known for her role as Jodi Fountain in the Australian series “McLeod’s Daughters,” and for her roles in “N.C.I.S: Los Angles,” “The Rachels,” “The Glades” and “If There Be Thorns.” She also played a leading role in “Against the Wall.”
She also appeared in the thriller “Triangle” alongside Liam Hemsworth. Fans expressed their condolences in the comments section of an image featuring the actress on social media.
“My deepest sympathies to you,” one commented.
“Condolences to your family and friends, such a beautiful young woman,” said another.
The Carpani family’s statement continued, “The funeral will be a private event, to be held on Friday 19th December with close family and friends.”
