College Hockey Game Sees Wild Brawl Erupt That Includes Goalie Who Is Absolute Menace

Ahh … aren’t college sports great?

I love the joy I experience when I check in on college hockey. It’s hard not to smile when you witness the passion that comes along with the players, and all because they’re incredibly addicted to this game.

It’s pure beauty, just like this video I have for you today. It’s an absolute banger of a clip coming out of a good ol’ fashioned rivalry in Oklahoma.

Friday night, the Oklahoma Sooners ACHA squad faced off against their in-state rivals in the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos. Barely a few shifts in, a Bronchos forward hunted down a loose puck deep in the zone and knocked Oklahoma goalie Brendan Forden, who had wandered out of his crease to play it. Forden hit the ice hard, and the second his fellow Sooners saw the contact, they swarmed in to defend their goalie.

That’s cool and all, but I have a feeling that Forden didn’t need a single soul coming to his rescue.

Without hesitation, he straight up bolted from his crease to the red line scrum exploding along the boards, and what an absolute menace this guy is.

We’re all enjoying this clip, as we should, but just imagine how different this story would have been if the referee got injured from Brendan Forden clipping his knee?

Luckily, that didn’t happen, but Lord have mercy.
