CEO Of Major Car Company Sports MAGA Gear At NASCAR Event
My wife has been pushing me to eventually get a Toyota truck … maybe I’ll take her up on that after this.
Toyota announced Tuesday a $912 million investment into U.S. manufacturing, just days after CEO Akio Toyoda personally hosted a star-spangled NASCAR event in Japan where he wore a Trump-Vance shirt and a red Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat.
At Toyota‘s Fuji Speedway, Sunday’s event included high-profile drivers, an American flag-waving crowd and even drew an appearance by the U.S. Ambassador to Japan George Glass, Automotive News reported. The Toyota chief nodded to simmering trade tensions between the United States and Japan amid his blunt display of pro-Trump enthusiasm.
“I’m not here to argue whether tariffs are good or bad. Every national leader wants to protect their own industry,” said Toyoda prior to the endurance race, per the New York Post.

I need to get my money up first, but I’m eventually going to pull the trigger on buying a truck, something that I’ll be able to use during storm chases (particularly hurricanes). It’s something that I’m going to start doing when I get all the necessary gear.
Well, I’ve been thinking about getting a Chevrolet, one of those big boys that can handle massive winds and drive through floodwater like it’s nothing. My wife has been pushing Toyotas on me, mainly from the standpoint of having a great reputation of never breaking down.
After seeing Toyoda in MAGA gear and this as well …
