Country Music Star Performs For Trump At Mar-A-Lago, Sending Internet Into A Frenzy
Keith Urban performed Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” at a Mar-a-Lago party Saturday attended by President Donald Trump and the internet is ablaze.
The famous country music star entertained the elites, including the president, at Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt’s private party, People reported. However, it wasn’t the quality of his performance that garnered the most attention — fans across the globe took to social media questioning his song choice. Social media users slammed the singer for his rendition of “Pink Pony Club” by pointing out the song’s link to the LGBTQ movement.
Critics went into a frenzy and dragged Urban mercilessly, with one account saying, “What was Keith Urban thinking? Sang LGBTQ anthem for Trump at Mar-a-Lago.”
“He’s determined to ruin his career [sic],” another wrote.

Pride.com weighed in to say, “The country singer raised eyebrows for performing a queer anthem at the Trump property,” while another account said “Who had Keith Urban performing ‘Pink Pony Club’ for Trump at Mar-A-Lago on their 2025 Batsh*t Crazy Bingo Card?”
“Can we cancel @KeithUrban? The irony of Trump having an immigrant sing a queer persons song at Mar a lago. Can’t make this sh-t up,” another person said.

Urban also performed Bob Marley’s “Is This Love” as part of his eyebrow-raising set, according to footage posted by Florida realtor Tali Israel. Platt pledged a $5 million investment to back up Trump’s “call to reindustrialize” America in April, Axios reported.
The country star has not publicly addressed the mounting criticism.
