You Won't Believe Size Of Gargantuan American Crocodile Chomping Down On Massive Tarpon

Who needs the Loch Ness Monster when you have this behemoth?
Being in Florida for as long as I have, I’ve seen some pretty wacky stuff. I’ve been slammed by two major hurricanes in three weeks (and that’s just those two), I’ve seen so many alligators I’ve lost count, I’ve been attacked by every bug known (and unknown) to this state, and the list goes on and on and on.
If you’re from here or vacation here on a consistent basis (or you’re just familiar with the “cool” side of pop culture), then you’re very well aware that a lot of the cool stuff, at least when it comes to nature, happens in the Everglades. Gators, Florida panthers, Burmese pythons, bears, wild boar, you’ll find all kinds of stuff out there. Hell, even the mosquitoes in the Glades are exotic. Well, another creature that calls the Everglades home is the American crocodile, with as many as 2,000 in South Florida.
Recently, a fisherman based out of the Florida Keys by the name of Captain Jared Raskob caught one of those bad boys on camera. And it’s not just that it was a croc, you’ve gotta see the size of this thing, it’s enormous!
Ladies and gentlemen, the dinosaurs still live amongst us … check out this wild footage.
The Everglades is the only place in the world where the American crocodile and the American alligator overlap. To distinguish the two, alligators have a more U-shaped snout while crocodiles have a more pointed or V-shaped snout, like this one.

Damn, I love Florida. The only place I’d leave this state for is Heaven, and that’s a bet.
