According to Costco members, the Third Avenue store and parking lot is overcrowded on a frequent basis

“There’s a lot of tension here, from the parking lot to inside, it’s like there’s limited space there, it seems like there’s limited resources, which is ironic, but I’m not terribly surprised,” shopper Yizhou Jiang said, per ABC7 New York.

Other members are in agreement that the store’s tension can feel at a high level.

“I see the frustration on the people’s faces when they’re shopping, too,” said shopper Gary Mirabelle, per the outlet. “It’s tough to come here and shop and, you know, you want to get in and you want to get out.”

At the time of publication, the investigation is active with no arrests being made.
