Even Bill Belichick wants to run away … that’s how bad things are.

The North Carolina Tar Heels have gotten off to a dreadful 2-3 start, and not just that, but public relations lashbacks have been pummeling the program. As a result, head coach Bill Belichick is reportedly looking to be bought out of his current contract with the University of North Carolina. According to a report from Ollie Connolly of The Guardian, Belichick has been speaking with the school about potential options for a buyout, and that the parting would be mutual between the two parties if Belichick can find another job.

The story from Connolly also includes further information regarding other North Carolina staffers being a part of talks about moving to another team in the middle of the season, and that the program has an awkwardness about it on the inside. And judging by how things have gone this season, well, yeah.

Yep, that’s pretty much what me and the rest of America is thinking needs to happen, and Bill Belichick apparently agrees. That’s how bad it is at North Carolina, that someone with the ego of Belichick is even running away from the job.

What a disaster.
