Puppet Triggers Entire Protest, Gets Kicked Out

Edgar the puppet paid a visit to the “Make Billionaires Pay” march Sept. 20 in New York City, New York, only for people to allegedly harass him and his camera woman, Denice Flores Almendares.
The puppet kicked off his usual routine of asking attendees questions. Addressing free speech, he asked one woman how upset she was about the cancelling of late night host Jimmy Kimmel’s show — since reinstated — and the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. He then pressed others on whether they were lazy and how U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement could target the worst criminal illegal aliens. The puppet also asked a question related to the late registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
However, people wearing yellow safety vests could be seen trying to intercede between Edgar and those he wanted to interview. Eventually, multiple people in vests were blocking the puppet off from protesters, including forming a human chain between him and the crowd, according to the footage. “This is the left’s repression of free speech,” Edgar shouted. “They shut down free speech. They don’t want you to talk.”
Multiple people allegedly bullied or pushed Edgar and his camera woman, Denice Flores Almendares, during the protest. “Do not push my Latina camera woman again,” the puppet demanded in the video. “Stop bullying muppets.”
Despite this, Edgar managed to ask a woman about political unrest and preserving democracy, directly asking her why she would have supported former Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 election. The puppet and his companion eventually made it out of the chaos, where the puppet asked after her well-being.
