Corporate Media Caves To Trans Mob By Referring To Kavanaugh's Would-Be Assassin As A Woman

The corporate media immediately caved to the pro-transgender mob by suddenly referring to the would-be assassin of Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh as a woman.
A Biden-appointed judge sentenced Nicholas Roske to eight years in prison for the attempted assassination of Kavanaugh in June 2022, though prosecutors sought a 30 year sentence. Prominent media outlets used feminine pronouns for Roske and labeled him as a woman, despite him being a biological male.
NBC News published the headline, “Woman sentenced to 8 years for attempting to assassinate Brett Kavanaugh,” despite Roske being a male. Roske’s defense attorneys revealed in a Sept. 19 filing that he uses female pronouns and goes by the name “Sophie.” (RELATED: Here Are All The Conservative-Leaning Outlets That Call Dylan Mulvaney A ‘She’)

The Guardian also referred to Roske as a “woman” in its headline, “Woman who tried to kill Brett Kavanaugh jailed for eight years.” United Press International (UPI) followed the same practice by also referring to Roske by his preferred name and pronouns.
Politico, ABC News, Reuters, CNN, and The Daily Mail also all used feminine pronouns after clarifying that Roske is a trans-identifying individual.
Roske’s family urged Judge Deborah Boardman, who oversaw the case, to issue a lenient sentence because of the convicted would-be assassin’s gender identity. The judge previously refused to allow parents to opt their children out of LGBTQ story lessons, which the Supreme Court reversed in June.
The would-be assassin, along with his mother and sister, argued that Roske should get a light sentence because he was still “in the closet” at the time of the incident.
Following the sentence, Attorney General Pam Bondi vowed on Friday that the Department of Justice (DOJ) “will be appealing the woefully insufficient sentence imposed by the district court.”
The media also used feminine pronouns for the alleged shooter at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who was a biological male.
