Is there a glimmer of hope for bitter, single, liberal women?

A new study from the Institute for Governance and Civics at Florida State University showed that, yes, there might be hope yet for single liberals who hate conservatives so much that they would never be willing to date one. The study found that, generally, as liberal women age, they become more open to dating a conservative man. However, their openness with age might all be for nothing.

According to the study, as conservative men get older, they actually become open to dating a liberal.

The results of the study are not definitive by any stretch of the imagination, though there is a certain kernel of truth to it.

There are plenty of young men in the world who may not be full on MAGA die hards but hold conservative beliefs. They are not far right as to be unwilling to date a liberal. They may have voted for Trump, but they are fairly open minded.

Young liberal women, on the other hand, would outright reject this person as a potential romantic or life partner. It doesn’t matter if he voted for Trump but disagrees with the president’s tariff or deportation policies. There is no nuance for liberal women; they are completely intolerant.

And it’s this intolerance that leads to conservative men becoming more closed off in older age. How many conservative men have seen their relationships (or budding ones) blow up because of politics? How many have been rejected just because they think abortion should be reserved for extreme cases, like incest or dire medical emergencies? I’d bet a fair share. When liberal women are still single well into their 30s, and likewise, conservative men, the women will only have themselves to blame for mixing politics into dating. They will probably ask themselves, “Where are all the good guys?” Well, you rejected all the good guys when you were a mid-20s activist afflicted by an abnormal obsession with politics.
