Turning Point USA Pulling Glorious Move Before Huge College Football Game

What a glorious move from Turning Point USA!
This weekend, my No. 2 Miami Hurricanes have a bye week as we prepare for our upcoming rivalry game against the No. 8 Florida State Seminoles, so that means that all of my attention can be focused on the biggest game of the weekend: No. 6 Oregon Ducks at No. 3 Penn State Nittany Lions.
But not only is it a high-profile game that has Big Ten and College Football Playoff implications, it’s special due to Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk once having plans to go to the game in State College. A known fan of Oregon, Kirk was assassinated Sept. 10 while speaking at a campus event at Utah Valley University. Conservative commentator Benny Johnson joined Will Cain on his “Will Cain Country” podcast Thursday, and during so, he made the announcement that Turning Point USA would be at the campus of Penn State University over the weekend to give out 5,000 shirts to fans to pay tribute to Kirk. The shirts have the word “Freedom” on them and are replicas of Kirk’s shirt that he was wearing when he was killed.
On top of that, TPUSA will also be setting up a voter registration station and tent to get college students more involved in politics to continue Kirk’s mission.
“In honor of Charlie Kirk, we are going to fight cultural battles, and we are going to win them,” said Johnson. “We want this student section to be popping with Charlie Kirk ‘Freedom’ shirts for the ‘White Out’ at Penn State this weekend.”
