Music Icon Makes Comeback After Lengthy Hiatus

Madonna joined forces with Warner Records, marking her comeback at the age of 67.
The famous singer announced her reunion with the label Thursday on Instagram, writing, “Almost 2 decades later – And it Feels like home with Warner Records! Back to music, Back to the Dance Floor Back to where it all began! COADF- P. 2 🪩 2026.”
The untitled dance album will see Madonna reunite with DJ Stuart Price, who first produced her acclaimed “Confessions on a Dance Floor” album in 2005.
Madonna’s post included a fresh gallery of sultry images to promote her return to the scene.
She struck a series of poses in a pale pink dress that the star accessorized with black and gold sparkly shoes.
Madonna issued a statement to Variety about the nostalgic connection she shares with her original record label.
“From being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles, it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again and in fact that couldn’t have been truer,” she said.
“Since the beginning, Warner Records has been a real partner with me. I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations,” she told the outlet.
The Queen of Pop has never shied away from blending politics with pop culture, and in the current climate, there’s no telling what kind of messages she’ll relay with her new music. (RELATED: Snoop Dogg Backs Out Days Before Show After Promoter Reportedly Convicted Of Sexual Assault)
