As fireworks exploded on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, some social media users were more captivated by FBI director Kash Patel’s tie than his fiery exchanges with Democratic lawmakers.

Patel was spotted rocking a Liverpool F.C. tie during an oversight hearing in which he clashed with the likes of Adam Schiff and Cory Booker. Liverpool is a Premier League soccer team based in England, so naturally, we sports fans across the pond were having a bit of a conniption.
