NFL Teammates Hilariously Have No Idea Who Each Other Are Following Dominant Win Together

If there was an award for “NFL Comedy of the Week,” this would be a clear winner.
The “Sunday Night Football” primetime game on NBC was a matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium, with the Dirty Birds picking up a dominant 22-6 win over J.J. McCarthy & Co. (RELATED: Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence Has Tense Exchange With Liam Coen As Team Blows It Against Bengals)
Two big parts of Atlanta‘s win were the performances from kicker John Parker Romo and defensive end Leonard Floyd, who both won Player of the Game with each other. But here’s the hilarious thing about that: They had no idea who each other were.
Romo was magnificent in the game going 5-5 in field goal attempts, also racking up an extra point for a flashier resume, but with him just being signed, he’s still learning names as far as his teammates are concerned. And that was hilariously on full display while Romo was speaking in a postgame interview.

This is hilarious: The #Falcons just signed K John Parker Romo last week and he went 5/5 on FGs and was named Player of the Game alongside Leonard Floyd.
One problem: He had no idea who Leonard Floyd was.
“Nice to meet you.” 😂😂😂

Hey, it happens, especially when you’ve only been working for a place for a week. But still, this is a hilarious scene.
Reminds me of Mike McDaniel‘s latest press conference … LMAO.
Mike McDaniel has lost all confidence.
Fans want him, Tagovailoa and Grier gone. There’s planes flying over the stadium calling for firings. The media is blasting him as a “lost cause.”
And this is how he responds.
Darrell Bevell might be your new coach soon, Dolphins fans. https://t.co/aAwMcmJwxm pic.twitter.com/RMRqyjv0Vw

What a crapshow that is, but I’m not even gonna get into it … this is John Parker Romo’s moment!
