A Harris County Constable’s deputy in Texas is under investigation after reportedly posting a TikTok claiming she was going to ticket drivers because she hadn’t gotten laid, according to local outlet Fox 26.

The deputy posted a video on the social media platform of herself in uniform with the caption “Didn’t get cracked last night so everyone is getting a ticket” as she wrote on a notepad in her vehicle, according to The New York Post. The Harris County Precinct 5 told Fox 26 on July 31 that it had opened an official investigation into the matter. The Post identified the officer as Jennifer Escalera by the nameplate on her uniform.

“It’s still ongoing,” a spokesperson for the department told the Daily Caller. The spokesperson declined to confirm the identity of the deputy and stated the officer has not been disciplined or suspended at this time.

Escalera joined the department in September 2021, according to a Facebook post. Her TikTok account, which has since been deleted, featured several other videos of her in uniform, including one about getting ready for work as a “female Police Officer,” according to the Post.

Alex Fitch, a resident of the area, told Fox 26 that Escalera’s post was “inappropriate and disrespectful.”

“It makes them look unprofessional when they start posting videos like that. You can’t take them seriously,” Fitch said, according to Fox 26. “Then they wonder why, when you see them, they say, ‘Why don’t you respect me?’ or ‘Why are you talking to me like that?’ Well, you don’t treat yourself like a woman, and you ain’t treating yourself like a police officer.”
