You gotta love Kevin Love.

NBA star Kevin Love, a long-time veteran in the league, was left baffled on the business side of things after he was shipped Monday to the Utah Jazz from the Miami Heat in a seven-team trade.

The 36-year-old Love plans on keeping his NBA career going, however, it’s expected that Love and the Jazz will come to an agreement on a contract buyout. (RELATED: New York Knicks Making Very Questionable Decision With Head Coaching Hire: REPORT)

If you know Love and pay attention to him online, you know how funny he can be, and he showed some of that comedy Monday when he reacted to being traded to the Jazz. And as you’ll see, he was completely flabbergasted by the move after getting settled in South Beach.

“Never thought I’d be a math problem. Welcome to the NBA,” said Love, thinking over the decision from the front office.

The Heat saved $4.15 million for the 2025-26 season by trading Love.

It’s funny, because I used to hate Kevin Love when he teamed up with LeBron James in Cleveland, but when he came to Miami, I ended up liking him and he became one of my favorite Heat players as far as the past few years are concerned.

It’s sad to see him leave, but at the same time, I’m fond of saving $4.15 million, getting Norman Powell and opening up the books for somebody like Damian Lillard, which could in turn bring Giannis Antetokounmpo to the 3-0-5.

We’ll see how those last two parts play out, but we’re opening up the books, that’s clear.
