Legendary Piece Of College Basketball History Is Making Glorious Return To Our Lives

I nearly passed out when I saw this news … holy!
EA Sports made the move to bring back their iconic college football video game in 2024, and just a year later, it looks like they are returning their college basketball franchise after being away for a long 16 years. The last time we had a college hoops game was in 2009. (RELATED: Face Of Both NBA And WNBA Are White Players, And ESPN Is Already Stirring Up The Pot)
“Bring the Madness. Let’s run it back,” reads a caption on a Monday morning social media post from EA Sports where they showed a teaser for the game. The company hasn’t released much information about it, so not much is known at this time.
A report from Chris Vannini of The Athletic states that it’s predicted to come out in 2028, with the game featuring not just men’s basketball, but women’s basketball as well.

We’ve got college football, we’re about to get college basketball back … it’s got me thinking … could we possibly see a return of a college baseball video game?
The last time we had a college baseball game was in 2007, and I understand how the series ended up getting cancelled because of poor sales, but we need to give it another try after 18 years. The culture is completely different now and we’re so much more hype about sports (and video games at that).
We need to complete the set … football, basketball, baseball … pull the trigger, EA.
