It’s Been Revealed What White Sox Fan Said To Sobbing Ketel Marte About His Mom, And Holy Moly, What An Overreaction

You’ve gotta be kidding me …

This was a complete overreaction from Major League Baseball, and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they got slapped with a lawsuit.

It’s been revealed what the Chicago White Sox fan said about the mother of Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte, which sent him into such an emotional moment that he was crying over it. Remember, the fan was kicked out of the game for this and then ultimately banned from every single Major League Baseball ballpark in existence.

“What happened was in the 7th inning I came to bat, I’m ready at the plate and I hear this fan shouting. He was on top of the dugout. He yelled at me, saying stuff about my mom,” said Marte to reporter Yancen Pujols, per OutKick. “He was like, I sent your mom a text last night,” continued Marte, prior to saying that he was in Chicago back in 2017 when he discovered that his mom died in a car crash.

Wait, that’s it?

You can check out the video of his comments here.

Look, I get that Marte’s mom died and that sucks, but if that’s literally all the fan said, what are we doing? And another question, considering the fan is in his early 20’s, was he even aware that Marte’s mom died eight years ago?

I smell a lawsuit … damages and all that jazz … coming soon.
