Sore Loser Wisconsin Slaps Miami With College Football Lawsuit After Taking Big Fat L: REPORT

LMAO … we got the best lawyers in the country, Wisconsin. Bring it.
Following the 2024 season, the Wisconsin Badgers football program lost their star freshman defensive back Xavier Lucas, someone who is expected to go to the NFL when his time in college is done. He took his talents to South Beach to play for the Miami Hurricanes.
Prior to leaving, Lucas allegedly inked a contract with the Badgers. He looked for a release, but Wisconsin declined to grant it to him. However, that didn’t stop Lucas from going down to South Florida anyways to become a Hurricane, doing so without ever going into the transfer portal.
Well, with the situation being what it is and the Canes having the reputation that they do, there were instant accusations of tampering, and now the Badgers have decided to go to war against Miami.
Both the University of Wisconsin and the athletic program’s NIL collective slapped the University of Miami with a lawsuit Friday in state court, according to a report from Yahoo Sports. (RELATED: Mizzou Spends $31.7 Million In NIL Money To Make Sure They Put Championships In Trophy Case: REPORT)
The Badgers are accusing Miami of interfering in their dealings with Xavier Lucas.
“Miami interfered with UW-Madison’s relationship with Student-Athlete A (Lucas) by making impermissible contact with him and engaging in tampering,” reads the lawsuit per Yahoo Sports.
The Big Ten conference has also decided to back up Wisconsin, releasing a statement on the matter.
“We stand by our position that respecting and enforcing contractual obligations is essential to maintaining a level playing field. In addition to our legal action, we will continue to be proactive to protect the interests of our student-athletes, our program and the broader collegiate athletics community,” per Yahoo Sports.
