Spire Motorsports Slaps Carson Hocevar With Punishment For Simply Telling Truth About Mexico City

dailycaller.com

It’s Mexico City, bro. What are we doing? (LMAO)

NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar was slapped with a $50,000 fine Tuesday by Spire Motorsports for comments that he made about Mexico City during a Twitch live stream. His words came as NASCAR recently raced there. I couldn’t find the original video, but basically, he called Mexico City a “sh*thole,” according to Burning Rubber Radio.

When Sunday night got here, Hocevar ended up reversing course on his comments by apologizing, then admitted that he had never been outside of America before. He used that as an excuse for his apparent negative comments about Mexico City. (RELATED: NASCAR Caught Celebrating Pride Month In One Of Sneakiest Ways Imaginable)

“I am embarrassed by my comments,” posted Hocevar in his apology, per the Associated Press, something that he should have never issued because it has him looking like a complete goof.

And it wasn’t just the fine that Hocevar was hit with, Spire also ordered him to be in attendance for bias-awareness training and cultural-sensitivity.

The $50,000 fine will be split among three organizations in Mexico that serve their communities: Fondo Unido México (United Way Mexico), Cruz Roja Mexicana (Mexican Red Cross) and Un Kilo de Ayuda.

Shame on Spire Motorsports for being politically correct, shame on Carson Hocevar for apologizing, shame on NASCAR for not stopping this, and shame on Mexico City for being a sh*thole.
