Byron Donalds Says Israelis About To Show ‘More Creativity’ Fighting Iran

Republican Florida Rep. Byron Donalds appeared on Newsmax Friday to predict Israel will shift its approach in its ongoing conflict with Iran.
The Israeli military carried out attacks against Iran Thursday, aimed at high-ranking Iranian figures, such as Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders and nuclear experts, as well as key nuclear facilities.
Donalds was asked on “Rob Schmitt Tonight” about what’s to come.
“I think you’re gonna see more creativity by the Israelis in this conflict, and I think it was said in a previous segment, and I do agree there are elements on the ground in Iran who do not want the Mullahs running that country anymore,” Donalds said.
Donalds pointed to Iran’s internal struggles and highlighted the 2009 Green Revolution, when Iranian citizens sought to overthrow the regime. Donalds also criticized the administration of former President Barack Obama for its policy on Iran.

“You have to go back to 2009, when you had the Green Revolution in Iran, where you had people in that country who were trying to get rid of this brutal, murderous, theocratic Iranian regime. And Barack Obama, when he was president at the time, ignored the Green Revolution, and he went with his big Iran deal that did nothing,” Donalds said.
Donalds said it’s important to recognize that the Iranian people desire change. This, he said, contrasts with a regime that oppresses people and pursues nuclear power. (RELATED: Retired General Jack Keane Says Iran’s Manner Of Retaliation Against Israel So Far Offers One ‘Good Sign’)
“Actually, Iran was continuing on their pathway towards a nuclear weapon. They were continuing to enrich uranium. They were not letting us go in and do inspections. They wouldn’t let anybody go in and do these inspections,” Donalds said. “And so the Green Revolution was tamped down. So I think it’s important for people to understand that there are Iranian citizens who do not want the Mullahs continuing to run that.”
Mullahs’ leadership in Iran continues to enforce strict control over both social and political life, stifling opposition and limiting freedoms. The regime’s priorities are funding foreign proxies, sustaining IRGC-linked cryptocurrency schemes and diverting resources to military projects, which left Iran’s infrastructure crumbling and its citizens destitute.
Iran launched a retaliatory attack against Israel Friday after Israel struck Tehran’s leadership and nuclear facilities. The Israeli military said Iranian forces fired dozens of missiles, triggering explosions across multiple cities. Israeli interceptors successfully neutralized many of the incoming missiles, but at least five people were wounded.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday that Israel would continue bombing Iran until it eliminates the “threat” posed by the nation. In a speech lasting more than seven minutes, Netanyahu condemned the “tyrants of Tehran” for pursuing Israel’s destruction and said Iran has reportedly advanced its uranium production to build nine atomic bombs.
After Israel bombed Iran, Trump said the U.S. knew of the operation in advance but did not participate.
“Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb, and we are hoping to get back to the negotiating table. We will see. There are several people in leadership that will not be coming back,” Trump said.
