Kash Patel Tells Joe Rogan His House Was Attacked

FBI Director Kash Patel told popular podcast host Joe Rogan on a Friday episode of his show that his home was “swatted.”
A swatting call was reported at Patel’s Las Vegas residence on Tuesday morning, but officers contacted the home and figured out it was a hoax before deploying any response units, KLAS 8 News Now reported citing local law enforcement. When Patel told Rogan on “The Joe Rogan Experience” that his house “got swatted,” the podcast host seemed shocked it could happen to him, given his status as FBI director. (RELATED: Sen. “As director of the FBI, I have a responsibility. I’m not just gonna bring a case because somebody hurt me — they did — and they continue to do it,” Patel said. “Shit, my house just got swatted yesterday.”
Rogan appeared stunned, asking, “What?” Patel answered affirmatively.
“You got swatted?” Rogan followed up, with Patel once again answering affirmatively.
“The head of the FBI gets swatted?” the podcast host asked.
“Yeah. Yeah. These people play — it’s the ultimate height of hypocrisy — they have two sets of rules — one against you and one for them,” the FBI director said.
Patel has taken a stand against swatting as FBI director, saying there was an “alarming rise” in such incidents against “media figures” in a March 14 X post.
“The FBI is aware of this dangerous trend, and my team and I are already taking action to investigate and hold those responsible accountable,” he wrote.
I want to address the alarming rise in ‘Swatting’ incidents targeting media figures. The FBI is aware of this dangerous trend, and my team and I are already taking action to investigate and hold those responsible accountable.
This isn’t about politics—weaponizing law enforcement…

“This isn’t about politics—weaponizing law enforcement against ANY American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers,” he added. “That will not be tolerated. We are fully committed to working with local law enforcement to crack down on these crimes.”
Patel was the former lead Russiagate investigator for the House Intelligence Committee.
Since becoming FBI director, Patel announced the arrests of two alleged leaders of a violent child exploitation network in May, connected to a Satanic, neo-Nazi group. In an April 25 X post, he announced the arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan, who allegedly assisted in hiding a migrant charged with violence from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
