EXCLUSIVE: Man Arrested For Allegedly Plotting ‘Mass Casualty’ Event Was ‘Transitioning’ Genders, Police Confirm
A Texas man arrested for allegedly planning a “mass casualty event” against law enforcement was “transitioning” genders, a police source confirmed to the Caller.
The FBI’s Houston office announced Monday that it arrested Seth “Andrea” Gregori after he allegedly plotted an attack against police “similar to the 2016 Dallas ambush.” In that 2016 attack, Micah Xavier Johnson ambushed police officers in Dallas, Texas, killing five and wounding nine more in a mass shooting. Johnson was reportedly angry over white police officers shooting black suspects.

Gregori was arrested for allegedly making terroristic threats against Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) officers, according to a CCPD press release.
Numerous law enforcement releases and news stories referred to Gregori by both the names “Seth” and “Andrea.” The Caller asked CCPD why it used both in its press release.
A CCPD officer said that, based on information they received from the FBI, “it’s our understanding that [Gregori is] transitioning.” Gregori’s driver’s license indicates he is male, but booking information from the Nueces County jail reportedly marks him as “female.”
Both the FBI national press office and Houston field office declined to comment on the matter, referring the Caller to the Nueces County District Attorney’s (DA) Office and “local/state public records.”
Speculation had circulated online that Gregori may be “transgender” because at least two different law enforcement agencies were using different first names when referencing the suspect.
Gregori also appears in pictures with long hair in a mugshot shared by CCPD.

A local news outlet used female pronouns when referring to Gregori. An officer on a joint task force with the FBI was investigating a tip from Feb. 6 according to CCPD, the outlet reported.
Gregori was reportedly friendly with multiple officers and took photos of them, the tipster asserted. Gregori had also recently bought an AR-style rifle, the outlet said.
He was arrested Monday with the rifle in his book bag, according to the outlet, which cited an affidavit.
KENS5 News reported that Gregori allegedly intended to target “white cops” in the CCPD but would leave “Black and Mexican cops alone,” according to the arrest affidavit.
The outlet noted that there “is confusion” over Gregori’s gender.
In 2018, a 14-year-old Seth Gregori and Jonathan Gregori were reported missing by the Corpus Christi Police Detectives. Both were located, according to a press release. Law enforcement said Seth “Andrea” Gregori is currently 21 years old.
A pre-file case in the Nueces County District Attorney’s Office uses the name “Andrea Lozano Gregori.”
The name Andrea is also used in a probable cause statement obtained by the Caller.

According to a Nueces County, Texas public portal, an Andrea Lozano Gregori was charged with multiple misdemeanors in previous years.
The charges include fleeing a police officer in 2023 and criminal trespassing in 2024.
