Netflix Announces New Animated Film 'Bro-Country Demon Hunters'
U.S. — Hoping to piggyback off of their smash hit "K-Pop Demon Hunters," Netflix has announced a new animated film coming in fall 2026 entitled "Bro-Country Demon Hunters."
The new film will follow the bro-country trio Luke, Jake, and Cole as they work to defeat the forces of demonic evil by singing about cut-off jeans and beer.
The movie's climactic battle reportedly takes place in an abandoned Applebee's parking lot, where the heroes square off against the Prince of Darkness after he crashes their tailgate and tells them he doesn't like blue jeans or Coors Light.
"It's demon hunters meets Florida Georgia Line," said Netflix producer Grant Hamilton. "This film is the ultimate mash-up. The demons have taken a new form, working to take people's souls by turning them into city folk who won't drink cheap beer. It's up to Luke, Jake, and Cole to fight back with the ultimate bro-country ballad."
As with the K-Pop version, Netflix has commissioned several original songs to accompany the new film. "Yeah gurrrrrl, I'm fightin' demons on my tractorrrr," sings Luke in the movie's new single "Fightin' Demons On My Tractor." "I love them jeans on you gurrrl, just like I love jacked-up trucks and beer and small tooooowns. But most of alllll, I like fightin' demons on my tractorrrr."
According to Netflix executives, the soundtrack also features instant classics like "Raisin' Hell (Against Hell)" and "Cold Beer, Warm Holy Water," as well as the emotional acoustic melody "If Heaven Ain't Got A Bass Boat, Send Me Back."
At publishing time, Netflix had announced a third installment coming in 2028, "Barbershop Quartet Demon Hunters."
