Dallas Cowboys have Two “Fully Vaccinated” Coaches and a Starting Wide Receiver Out with Covid

Oh, those “rare” breakthrough cases in the NFL. It doesn’t matter how rigorous their restrictions or how obtuse their segregation is between vaxxed and unvaxxed players and coaches. The football league can’t seem to get a handle on their Covid problems.

The latest team to be hampered by it is the Dallas Cowboys. They’re down two coaches and a starting player, all fully-vaccinated, all out with Covid. According to NBC Sports:

Cowboys offensive line coach Joe Philbin will not be with the team for today’s game against the Raiders after testing positive for COVID-19.

The Cowboys announced that Philbin and assistant strength and conditioning coach Kendall Smith are in the COVID-19 protocol and will not be at today’s game.

Philbin’s duties will be assumed by assistant line coach Jeff Blasko.

The Cowboys are shorthanded in more significant ways, with wide receiver Amari Cooper also in the COVID-19 protocol and receiver CeeDee Lamb still not cleared from a concussion. Philbin’s absence will be one more challenge for the home team in today’s second game.

Will the NFL ever realize that their heavily touted Covid protocols are worthless and discriminatory? No. They will virtue signal to the vaxx-nannies until Pandemic Panic Theater ends, which may be never.
