The names of eight “journalists” who have died in Gaza have been removed from a list of such victims assembled by the International Federal of Journalists because … they were terrorists.

The removal of the eight names, without public acknowledgement by the International Federation of Journalists, is “raising fresh questions about the influential organization’s credibility and repeated claims that ‘the Israeli army has deliberately targeted journalists,'” according to a report in the Free Beacon.

That “list” of Gaza “journalist” victims has been cited over and over by “major news organizations to discredit Israel’s war operations.”

Those operations were begun after the terrorists of Hamas invade Israel on that October day back in 2023 and slaughtered, often in horrific fashion, some 1,200 innocent civilians and kidnapped hundreds more.

The reported described the IFJ as being “packed with anti-Israel personalities.”

Based in Brussels, the group alleges it represents “600,000 media professionals from 187 trade unions and associations in more than 140 countries.

It maintains its list of “journalists” killed in Gaza since the Hamas terrorists attacked, and claims that it has “evidence” showing Israel intentionally murders journalists.

But the names of eight so-called murdered “journalists” were removed from the list between June 21 and July 9, confirmed the media watchdog group HonestReporting.

Further, the IFJ has offered no statement or explanation.

The report confirmed that another group, the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists, also has run a “similar, secretive removal process.”

“Both organizations have been widely cited in American and international media outlets, though virtually all of those publishers have been tight-lipped when faced with Free Beacon inquiries about their reliance on both groups,” the report said.

For example, the Guardian, CNN, NBC News, the BBC, the Associated Press, Newsweek, Voice of America, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, AFP, and France24 all have relied on the IFJ.

HonestReporting confirmed, “It is likely no accident that IFJ removed names from its list in the same period as CPJ’s acknowledgement.”

The report said the IFJ continues to exhibit partisan behavior, as it claims, “The Israeli government [is] deliberately using starvation as a weapon against the people of Gaza” and that “Palestinian journalists and media workers are the only ones bearing witness to the atrocities.”

The report noted one name that was deleted was that of Hussam Al Adlouni, listed originally by IFJ as a “journalist” but later missing from the list. That was shortly after a “martyr” notice was posted on Telegram claiming him as a Hamas Al-Qassam Brigades field commander.

Other names that vanished included Rasheed Albably, an Al-Qassam fighter who died in Gaza while hiding inside a United Nations school, Maisara Ahmed Salah, who was tied to terror by the Al-Qassam Brigades, and Abdul Rahman Bahr, after a “martyr notice” on Facebook listed him as a “mujahid” or holy warrior.

The IFJ did not respond to a Free Beacon request for comment on the deleted entries or its methodology.
