Warren Buffett for years has donated sometimes large sums of money to the Gates Foundation.

Last year, for example, it was $4.5 billion.

This year, it is nothing, following revelations about the relationship between Bill Gates and the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to a New York Post report, the abrupt change ended a two-decade philanthropic partnership.

Buffett confirmed Tuesday he is donating about $6 billion of Berkshire Hathaway stock during his annual mid-year donation to four family foundations run by daughter Susie and sons Howard and Peter.

The Gates Foundation, which has gotten some $47 billion over the years, was not mentioned.

His statement said, “Of course, mortality is unpredictable, but my remaining shares will be donated to the four foundations one way or the other by December 31, 2034.”

A Gates Foundation statement said, “The Gates Foundation is grateful to Warren Buffett for his decades of support for our work.”

Bill Gates’ reputation has sustained major damage following the release by the Department of Justice of files about Epstein. Those included photos of Gates posing with Epstein and with women whose faces were redacted.

Gates told Congress he met Epstein in 2011, three years after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution.

Gates, 70, has not been accused of crimes, and several times has expressed regret for having interaction with Epstein.
