Alert: President orders signs posted at Smithsonian to counter leftist exhibit agenda * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

Following up on a government report that confirmed the Smithsonian has been suppressing historical facts about the U.S. in favor of a leftist ideological bias that often denigrates America, President Donald Trump has ordered signs posted to correct the situation.
The report, 162 pages, from the White House Domestic Policy Council, confirmed recently that the museum’s has adopted an ideological agenda that actually cancels “straightforward historical education and scholarship” and instead has installed “an extreme political activism that seeks to transform our country.”
Not surprisingly, that leftist agenda denigrates America, its founding, its history and its people, in many ways.
The response from the president, whose authority does not extend to replacing the museum’s chieftains, is to order signs posted outside the museum, where the National Park Service, which takes orders from the president, runs the sidewalks.
Being posted now is the warning, above each entrance, “Warning: the exhibits in this museum were prepared by people who don’t want you to love your country.”
The signage also will point visitors to the condemning report.

Trump and his administration long have pointed out that the Smithsonian Institution, which gets about two-thirds of its $1 billion annual budget from the federal government, has promoted leftist ideology over and over, to the exclusion of actual U.S. history.
In March, Trump directed Vice President JD Vance and the Domestic Policy Council to “remove improper ideology” from Smithsonian museums and suggest “actions necessary to fully effectuate such policies,” the report said.
He targeted funding for programs that advanced “divisive narratives” and “improper ideology.”
It was just days ago that Anthea Hartig, director of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, responded to criticisms from members of Congress about one exhibit’s suggestion that Mickey Mouse was racist, and another, sexually explicit, LGBT display and more.
Hartig claimed, to Congress, that the report’s criticisms were not accurate.
She boasted, “There is always room for improvement. But I also know the beauty and the inspiration and the expertise that lies in our collections, our exhibits, and our programming.”
Further, Smithsonian Secretary Lonnie Bunch insisted the organization focuses on “scholarship, nonpartisanship, independence, accuracy, and integrity.”
The claims, however, were undermined by evidence from the museum itself, as Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, simply asked whether it is important to be polite.
Of course, agreed, Hartig.
Then Gill cited the museum’s own wild claim that being polite is an attribute of “white supremacy.”
Rep. Gill: “Is it important to be polite?”
Smithsonian Director Hartig: “Yes, sir”
