Following a burst of weekend hostilities, the U.S. will hold a fresh round of talks with Iran Tuesday in Doha, Qatar.

President Donald Trump said Monday on Truth Social in all capital letters: “IRAN HAS REQUESTED A MEETING. IT WILL TAKE PLACE TOMORROW IN DOHA!”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told “Fox & Friends” on Monday that both special envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff would represent the U.S. at the “high-level meetings.”

“As far as we’re concerned, we’re holding up our end of the ceasefire. Violence will be met with violence,” she indicated.

“If Iran chooses to be a bad actor, they’ll prove themselves to be the pariah of the Middle East. They’ve totally alienated themselves from their Gulf and Arab partners in the region.”

Leavitt added: “The United States of America has the best and strongest military in the world. The president retains the right to use it. But again, the memorandum of understanding will continue to be discussed. The ceasefire is in place, and we hope that we can get to a good deal. The president will sign one that puts our nation’s interests first.”

As WorldNetDaily reported Sunday, Trump warned that Iran’s very existence could come to an end after the Islamic Republic violated the ceasefire agreement with the U.S. by targeting ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump said on Truth Social Saturday evening: “United States aircraft just struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations, and coastal radar sites, for violating the Cease Fire Agreement, AGAIN! It is very possible that they will never learn!

“There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started. If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!”

The U.S. military had its own announcement that included video.

“U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted additional strikes against multiple targets in Iran, June 27, at the Commander in Chief’s direction,” it said.

After yesterday’s U.S. strikes in response to the Iranian attack on M/V Ever Lovely, Iran was given a chance to honor the ceasefire agreement but elected not to when its forces launched a one-way attack drone that hit M/T Kiku this morning at 4:30 a.m. ET. The Panama-flagged tanker was transiting near the Strait of Hormuz with more than two-million barrels of crude oil.”

“CENTCOM forces launched strikes today in direct response to continued Iranian aggression against commercial shipping. U.S. military aircraft targeted Iranian military surveillance infrastructure, communication systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities, and minelayer capabilities.”

“Commercial vessel transits through the Strait of Hormuz continue. U.S. forces remain vigilant, lethal, and ready.”

Vice President JD Vance, who helped negotiate the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran, noted of the latest action: “Iran signed a ceasefire agreement. We have honored it. If they have disagreements about how the MOU is being applied, they can pick up the phone. But violence will be met with violence.”
