‘National Emergency’: Trump cancels signing ceremony to light a fire for ‘desperately needed’ SAVE America Act * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

President Donald Trump is escalating the fight for election integrity in the United States.
Given the evidence of election fraud that has occurred in recent votes, he is demanding passage of the SAVE America Act, which would verify that only U.S. citizens are voting in national elections.
The plan has been the target of unjustified and inaccurate attacks from Democrats and other leftists who also have advocated, essentially, for open borders and open elections in America.
On Wednesday, Trump said on Truth Social: “Today’s Housing News Conference and Signing is hereby cancelled until such time as we pass the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT, which I consider to be a National Emergency. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
A report at the Daily Signal said the U.S. House voted just hours earlier 358-32 for a housing package aimed “at lowering costs for homebuyers and increasing housing supply.”
The plan, called the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, earlier gained Senate approval 85-5.
But Trump is calling it a national emergency, and demanded the SAVE America plan, which would require proof of ID and citizenship to vote.
He explained the housing bill “pales in comparison” to the SAVE America Act.
“The Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas’ Warren centric housing bill, which is of minor importance compared to lower interest rates, and even FISA, pales in comparison to passing THE SAVE AMERICA ACT,” he said. “That is what Americans, both Dumocrats, Republicans, and everyone else, care about.”
He continued, “Get the bad Republicans to approve it or, better yet, Terminate the Filibuster and approve it, AND EVERYTHING ELSE REPUBLICANS HAVE EVER DREAMED OF,” he added. “The Dumocrats will do it in hour one, 100%. Republicans will feel very stupid if they don’t do it first. I’ll be watching with tears in my eyes!!!”
He went on, “We have to pass the SAVE America Act, which is voter ID, which is proof of citizenship, etc. We have to pass it, so we’re going to have to talk about that, and many other things.”
Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, pointed out the housing plan contains “big government garbage & spending,” including a $200 million affordable housing pilot program to incentivize dense subsidized affordable housing units.
And another critic, Kevin Roberts, president of The Heritage Foundation, said, “Republicans must fight for BOTH” the SAVE America Act and a reconciliation bill including the president’s policy priorities.”
Giving up on the SAVE America Act isn’t an option.
Conservatives expect their elected leaders to FIGHT—and there’s no one better to deliver that message to Senate Republicans than President Trump himself.
Not only is the bill popular with voters, but it’s absolutely necessary. pic.twitter.com/IUr6CCijGd

The Housing bill is full of big government garbage & spending. Yet the @HouseGOP is going to muscle it through with democrats tomorrow over conservative opposition. Just a few of its sins:
1. Rep Tlaib’s Sec. 207 (H.R. 6768), which is a $200 million affordable housing pilot…

The American people are demanding that Congress deliver on two major priorities before the midterms: the SAVE America Act and Reconciliation 3.0. Show votes aren’t enough. Republicans must fight for BOTH.
The Senate must take up the SAVE America Act immediately and enforce the… https://t.co/QR8IcqTy5f
